An adorable goldfish is now eating and breathing normally thanks to a crafty veterinarian - and a credit card. Mr Hot Wing was born without a lower jawbone, making it nearly impossible for his mouth to stay open.

That's when Dr Brian Palmeiro from Lehigh Valley Veterinary Dermatology in Allenstown, Pennsylvania, stepped in.

Mr Hot Wing the goldfish is finally eating and breathing thanks to a set of custom braces fashioned out of an old credit card by Dr Brian Palmeiro from Lehigh Valley Veterinary Dermatology in Allenstown, Pennsylvania.

Palmeiro, better known as the Fish Doctor, fashioned a custom set of braces that would allow Mr Hot Wing's mouth to stay open. But don't call him a metal mouth. Mr Hot Wing's braces were actually fashioned from a plastic credit card.
