Player Forced Mid-Match To Shave Head!

The referee of the match between Al Shabab and Al Quadisiya in Saudi Arabia, was forced to cut the hair to Waleed Abdullah (Al Shabab goalkeeper), by the health authorities in Saudi Arabia. The hairstyle of the 29 year old footballer was considered inappropriate and offensive to the Islamic religion.

Waleed Abdullah and technical team also protested, but in vain. Although the goalkeeper did not lose much hair, the moment was filmed and became viral in European social networks.
