Saved By Pizza Delivery Guy!

We all turn to ordering a pizza in times of need but one woman actually used the service to save her and her children’s life.

A Florida mother used the Pizza Hut app to subtly send a message that she was being held hostage.

Cheryl Treadway, 25-year-old mother of three, was being held at knife point in her home by her boyfriend, Ethan Nickerson. Her boyfriend was believed to be under the influence of amphetamines and after an argument began threatening her. With her children all present and NIckerson having had confiscated her phone, Treadway eventually persuaded him to let her use her phone app to order the kids Pizza Hut.

This moment gave Treadway an opportunity to send a silent cry for help. Going unnoticed, Treadway subtly wrote in the comment section while ordering, writing ‘Please help. Get 911 to me’ and ‘911hostage help!’ The employees at Pizza Hut contacted authorities immediately without question.

The police arrived minutes later and saved her with no injuries.
