Near Miss Decapitation!!

Thom Richard was aboard his plane, 'Hot Stuff', about to take off for the final race of the National Championship Air Races in Reno, in the US state of Nevada when he realized he had an engine problem. 

After opening the glass cockpit, the pilot motioned to the technician who was on the track to warn that it would not participate in the race. 

However, some drivers are unaware of the signal and continued their takeoff. It is during this process that one of the planes crash in Thom Richard aircraft. The wing passes over the cockpit and almost decapitates him. 

The pilot escaped with only injuries in his hand.
